Wilbert A Reed, 90, of Grafton Ohio went home to be with the Lord on May 18, 2022. Wilbert was born June 11, 1931 in Normantown, WV to the late Elder Scott and Ruth (Moss) Reed.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Pauletta James and infant son Michael Reed; 2 brothers and 3 sisters. He is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Wilbert migrated to Ohio from WV to seek work in 1960. He was a foreman at Kasper Foundry for many years and retired from Elyria Foundry in 1996. Wilbert was an Ordained Deacon and faithful member of Midway Baptist Church of Elyria, Ohio.
He was ordained a deacon in 1978 and was a charter member of Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church. He enjoyed being a member of Silver Saints at Midway Baptist Church and especially his church family.
Wilbert’s treasure was his family. As he passed on to his heavenly home he was surrounded by his loving family.
Wilbert was an avid sports fan. Beginning with his opportunity to try out for the Cincinnati Reds. He was still playing league softball at the age of 50. He followed Cleveland sports but his all-time favorite team was the Keystone Wildcats. A highlight of Wilbert’s life was when he was inducted into the 2018 Keystone Hall of Fame as a “Wildcat Fan” of 53 years.
