Thomas L. Robey, 94 years of age, and a resident of Vermilion, passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at Samaritan Medical Center in Ashland, following a full and meaningful life.
He was born March 23, 1927, in Urichsville, Ohio. Thomas had made his home in the Amherst and Lorain area for the last seventy years.
He proudly served in the United States Navy during World War II. Thomas was employed as a pharmaceutical Rep. with Merell Dow Company for forty years. He loved playing golf and bowling, which he continued to do into his early 80’s. He was an avid sports fan and loved cars. Thomas loved taking care of his dogs. He was a former member of the Lorain Lions Club.
Survivors include his wife of seventy-one years Jean Kathryn Robey (nee: Sandry); his sons Tim Robey (Debbie) of Vermilion and Greg Robey (Sandi) of Amherst; his grandchildren Brooke Robey, Thomas Robey and Jessica Wilkolac.
He was preceded in death by his son Jeff Robey; his sister Virginia and his parents Roy and Mary Robey (nee: Lindsay).
Graveside services for family and friends will be held Wednesday, January 12, 2021, at 1:00 p.m.at Ridge Hill Memorial Park; 44805 North Ridge Road, Amherst.
