Terry E. Anderson, 63 years of age, and a resident of Jackson, Ohio, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, November 14, 2021 at Holzer Medical Center in Jackson, following a brief illness.
He was born July 1, 1958 in Pikeville, Kentucky. Terry had made his home in Jackson for the last thirty-three years.
He was employed as an engineer at AEP Gavin Power Plant for thirty years before retiring in 2013. Terry was a current member of Bethesda Chapel in Jackson and Midway Baptist Church in Elyria. He was a Champion for Christ and loved to share his faith with others. Terry found his soulmate and best friend when he married his wife Peggy. He loved helping his family and friends and was known as a very generous and sincere man with his offerings. His hobbies included fishing and hunting. Terry was a devoted husband, father, and son.
Survivors include his loving wife of forty-four years Peggy Anderson (Nee: Pitts); his daughter Angela Anderson of Marietta, Ohio; his grandchildren Alaura and Stryker Sickles; his sisters Malissa Anderson of Lorain, Connie Osborn (Raymond Zacharias) of Amherst; his sister in law Amy Anderson of Vermilion; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son Joshua Eugene Anderson in 2019; his brother Bradley Anderson in 2019; and his parents Eugene and Betty Anderson (nee: Tucker).
Public visitation for family and friends will be held Friday, November 19, 2021 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Midway Baptist Church; 41812 Griswold Road, Elyria. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Midway Baptist Church. Rebroadcasting of services will be available at https://www.facebook.com/mbcelyria/videos/663279698410751 . The Rev. Charles Keesee, Pastor Emeritus will officiate. Burial will take place at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township.
