Teresa Carol Thacker

Teresa Carol Thacker, 63 years of age, and a resident of Lorain, passed away  Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at Mercy Regional Medical Center following a sudden illness.

Teresa was born January 17, 1960, in Pikeville, KY, where she was raised before moving to the Lorain area in 1966. 

Teresa worked for Pharmacy Life in Elyria for 17 years before retiring in 2022.  She was a strong mom, caring, quiet and humble.  She found her greatest treasure in her family and grandchildren.  When she wasn’t caring for them, she could be found listening to country music, traveling, reading, or watching old television shows.  

Survivors include her children, Adam (Shannon) Molina of Vermilion, Amanda (Jean Paul) Lemos of Naples, FL, Devin Partin of Lorain; her son-in-law, Wayne Gawlik of Elyria; her grandchildren, Angela, Adam Jr., Marlie, Myla, Mikayla, and Jax; her siblings, Gene (Deborah) Thacker of Elyria, Donald Thacker of Lorain, Anthony Thacker of Elyria, James Thacker of Lorain, William (Janet) Thacker of AR, Pamela (Patrick) Kump of Southern Ohio, and Sharon Davila of Amherst; and her mom, Josie Thacker (nee: Worrix).

Teresa was preceded in death by her companion of 25 years, David Partin; her daughter Angela; and her dad Elmer Thacker.

Family will be receiving friends at Hempel Funeral Home in Amherst,  Friday, March 17, 2023, from 10 am until 1 pm.  A processional to the graveside will follow. Burial will follow at Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria, Ohio.
