Tamara Lynn Menzing (nee: Novak), 62 years of age, and a resident of Elyria, passed away April 26, 2022, at University Hospital Elyria Medical Center following a lengthy struggle with multiple health issues.
Tamara was born September 25, 1959, in Amherst, and raised in South Amherst, graduating from South Amherst High School. Elyria has been her home for the last 30 plus years.
Tamara was first employed at a Marcone Parts Distribution Center in Lorain for twenty five years, before working as a registration specialist at Elyria Memorial Hospital for 15 plus years. Outside of work, she loved making and corresponding with homemade cards. Her greatest joy however, was her family. Being together celebrating holidays and special events, or just hanging out making memories was her passion in life. She treasured her nieces and nephews.
Survivors include her husband of 31 years, Michael Joseph Menzing: her brothers, James (Christian) Novak of Birmingham, and Jeffery (Paula) Novak of North Olmsted; and her dog Sparky.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Tanya Knoble in March 7, 2022; and her parents James and Donna Novak(nee: Walker).
The family will be holding a private graveside at a later date.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
