Susan Schultz Obituary

Susan Lane Schultz (nee: Harrison), 76 years of age, and a resident of Amherst, passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at her home following a brief illness.

Susan was born May 13, 1947, in Detroit, Michigan where she was raised and lived until she moved to the Amherst area in 1976.

Susan was a devoted housewife and mother. She was an accomplished oil painter and was skilled in many other mediums such as chalk and scratch art. She also loved to express herself through poetry. Susan used her creative talents in her flower gardening. After raising her children Susan eventually worked at the Wobblefoot Limited Art Gallery in Lakewood.

Susan is survived by her children, Susan (Wilson) Deschine of Window Rock, AZ, Ron Schultz, Jr. of Lorain, Keith Goins of Amherst, Dan Goins of Carlisle Twp, Doug Schultz of American Fork, UT, Nicole Cobb (Gerardo Zuniga) of Amherst, Regina (Scott) Beatty of Highland, UT. She was grandmother to thirty-one grandchildren and is survived by many great grandchildren. She leaves behind twin sister, Sadie (Mike) Brooklier and sister, Sandra Pendleton, both of Michigan.

Susan was preceded in death by her husband of thirty-nine years, Ronald Schultz, her son, Michael Schultz; her siblings, Charles Harrison, Ned Harrison, Joan Weiss, Richard Harrison, Barbara Hoffman, Rondale (Ronnie) Harrison, David Ray Harrison, Danny Harrison, Michael Harrison, Arnold Harrison; as well as by her parents, Wright and Beatrice Harrison (nee: Enoch).

Friends may call Saturday, October 21, 2023, from 11 am until the time of the funeral service at 1 pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 3501 Kolbe Rd., Lorain, OH 44053. Rebroadcasting of services will be available at www.hempelfuneralhome.com . Burial will follow at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township, Ohio.
