Susan Moore Obituary
Susan Jane Moore (nee: Eberhardt), 86 years of age, and a resident of Avon Lake, Ohio, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2024 at her home, following a full and meaningful life.
She was born March 15, 1937 in Amherst where she was raised, graduating from South Amherst High School with the class of 1955. Susan continued her education at Lorain County Community College where she received her Associate degree.
Susan was a member of St. Johns United Church of Christ in South Amherst. She was employed as a school bus driver and also held the position as the treasurer for South Amherst High School. Susan also worked as the financial liaison for Lake Erie Educational Computer Association.
Survivors include her daughters, Jayne M. of Columbus, Susi A. of Avon Lake, and her grandson, Jay Louis Conroy.
She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-seven years, Leland Moore on September 25, 2012; her grandson Geoffrey Leland Conroy; her brother, Louis Eberhardt; and her parents, Frederick A. and Clara Anna Eberhardt (nee: Rick).
Private burial will be held by the family.
