Sharon G (Ellis) Lottig

Sharon G. Lottig (nee: Ellis), 60 years of age, and a resident of Lorain, passed away Sunday, October 22, 2023, at her home following a lengthy illness.

Sharon was born July 4, 1963, in  Huntington, WV where she was raised until she moved to the Lorain area in 1966.  She had been a manager for McDonalds for 25 years. 

Sharon enjoyed playing bingo, taking “road trips” all over the country, and her special “girls” only’ camping trips.  She loved to watch her Pittsburgh Steelers, especially when they beat the Cleveland Browns.  Most of all she treasured time she spent with family and friends.

Survivors include her husband John Lottig, Jr.; her children John Allen Lottig III of Carthage, New York, Arbunna Rae Lottig of Lorain, and Lisa Ann Lottig of Lorain; eleven grandchildren, her siblings, Keith (Tina) Ellis, Mickey (Annette) Ellis, Gregory (Bobbi) Ellis, Daniel Ellis, Greg (Patty) Ellis, Bunny (Gary) Lane, Tina Ellis all of Lorain and Sybil (Richard) Wilcox of Sacramento, CA.. 

Sharon was preceded in death by her brother James ‘JC’ Ellis,  and her parents Cline and Onetta Ellis (nee: Burton).

Friends may call Thursday, October 26, 2023, from 4 pm until the time of the service at 7 pm  p.m. at the Hempel Funeral Home, Amherst.
