Sharon Greenless (nee: Folbert), 73 years of age, and a resident of Lorain, passed away May 4, 2022, surrounded by her family, at her home, following a lengthy illness.
Sharon was born August 2, 1948, in Amherst, where she was raised, graduating from Amherst Steele High School with the class of 1966. Lorain has been her home for the last 50 years.
Sharon’s primary focus in life was that of being a homemaker. Beyond that, she took employment with the Woolworth Co., TrueValue Hardware, Daltons Clothier as well as a manager at Faroh's Candy. Outside of work she enjoyed flower gardening, especially raising impatiens. She loved crossword puzzles and traveling. She loved her family dearly, often traveling with them to watch them compete in their bowling tournaments. She also enjoyed bowling with her husband, when younger, in a couple bowling league. However, her greatest joy in life was spoiling her grandkids and collecting photos of them to display to friends and family.
Survivors include her husband of 51 years, William Greenless; her children, William “Spike” (Dawn) Greenless of Elyria, and Carri Ann Thompson of Amherst; her grandchildren, Gwendolyn, Grant, and Autumn.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Alice Folbert (nee: Kurth).
