Sandra L. Danicki, 55 years of age, and a lifetime resident of Amherst, passed away Friday, June 2, 2023 at Mercy New Life Hospice Residence Center, following a brief illness.
Sandy was born June 28, 1967, in Amherst and graduated with the class of 1985 from Amherst Steele High School. She attended Lorain County Community College as well as Lorain County Joint Vocational School.
Sandy worked on the assembly line at the Ford Motor Corporation for 20 years. She was a steadfast Cleveland Browns fan. Sandy was an animal lover and had a special place in her heart for dogs. By far she treasured her time spent with her family.
Survivors include her parents, Anthony Thomas ‘Tom’ and Nancy Danicki (nee: Standen); and her brother Steven (Kelly) Danicki all of Amherst, her longtime companion Brian Hartle as well as many beloved extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Christine Danicki; her paternal grandparents, Chester and Alfreda Danicki; and her maternal grandparents, Wayne and Colleen Standen.
Friends may call Wednesday, June 7, 2023 from 4-7 pm at the Hempel Funeral Home, Amherst. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 am from the funeral home. The Rev.
