On June 23, 2021 Robert E. “Bob” Rupp, a lifelong resident of Lorain, Ohio, passed away following a sudden illness.
Robert was born on April 9th to a large loving family. He enjoyed gatherings at his grandparents home with his parents, aunts, uncles and cousins. He would often refer to these gatherings as the best time of his life. These times were filled with hometown parades, 4th of July picnics, pictures taken at Lakeview Park Easter basket and he especially loved Christmas. These were the times where his love of cooking, baking and decorating for all events came from.
Robert graduated from Admiral King High School with the class of 1973. He attended Lorain County Community College where he earned an Associates Degree. Robert made new friends easily which aided in his career in sales. In addition children and dogs were drawn to him naturally because of his loving personality. He had many hobbies, gardening, antiquing, baking and traveling. He especially enjoyed wine tasting tours in Niagara on the Lake.
He was preceded in death by his parents Mary Ellen (Rilko) and Edward Rupp.
He is survived by his cousins Eva Marie Cox of Westlake, Mary Ellen (Vance) Bailey and Karen Smith both of Lorain and many other cousins, and his faithful companion, his little dog Louie.
