Polly Ann Rosenkranz (nee: Collins), 83 years of age, and a resident of Vermilion, formerly of Oberlin, passed away at Kingston of Vermilion, following a full and meaningful life.
She was born March 14, 1938, in Girdler, Kentucky. Polly had made her home in Kentucky and Ohio with a brief stay in Tennessee till moving to Ohio permanently in 2001 where she resided until her passing.
She was employed as an assembler at Rockwell International for many years. Polly enjoyed dancing and attending parties. She loved being outdoors, especially the time she spent camping with her family.
Survivors include her children; Eric J. Rosenkranz (Amy) of Parma Heights, Lisa Rosenkranz Gantz of Lorain, Mark E. Rosenkranz (April) of Akron, and Tona Rosenkranz Alderman (Jonathan) of Crossville, TN; fourteen grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Terry Grantz; her mother, Rose Marie Lee (nee: Collins); and her step father, Arnold Lee, and her granddaughter Athena Wood (White).
Public visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 noon. at Hempel Funeral Home, Amherst. Rebroadcasting of services will be available at http://www.hempelfuneralhome.com/ . Burial will follow at Brownhelm Cemetery, Vermilion.
