Paul Edwin Morrow, 73 years of age, and a resident of Amherst, passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at Mercy New Life Hospice Residence Center following multiple health events.
Paul was born March 4, 1949, in Amherst, Ohio. As well as in Ohio Paul also made his home in Kentucky, Michigan, and Georgia, before settling in Amherst.
Always on the move, Paul was a field service representative for the Eaton Corporation. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Amherst where he was actively involved. He loved all sports, especially the Atlanta Braves, but could be found watching something during every season of the year. He was gifted with his hands and could fix anything.
Survivors include his wife of nineteen years, Janet Morrow (nee: Barker); his children, Jennifer James of Lorain, Amber (Scott) Toyoda of Amherst, William (Jennifer) Morrow of Marietta, GA, Robin Morrow of Adairsville, GA and Timothy Lee of Amherst; four grandchildren, Ava, Charlotte, Eli, and Paul E. Morrow II; his brother, Ira (Linda) Morrow, and his sister, Carol (James) Kirkpatrick of Amherst.
Paul was preceded in death by his first wife, Martha “Marty” Morrow in 2000; his brother, Ronald Morrow; his sister, Sharon Jones; and his parents, Hobart and Rosalie (nee: Branscum).
Public visitation will be held Friday, May 6, 2022, from 4-8 pm at the Hempel Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 1 pm at the funeral home. Rebroadcasting of services will be available at www.hempelfuneralhome.com . The Rev. Alex VanCuran, pastor of Faith Baptist Church, will officiate.
Services will continue on May 16th, 2022 at 3pm at New Victoria Baptist Church in Woodstock, Ga.
