Patricia Kay Rosso (nee: Starcher), 78 years of age, and a resident of New Russia Township, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Lorain.
She was born July 22, 1942 in Gassaway, West Virginia. As a young girl her family moved to Lorain where she was raised and graduated from Clearview High School with the class of 1960. She had made her home in New Russia Township for thirty-two years.
Patricia was employed as a meat wrapper with the local Meat Cutters Union and was employed at various grocery stores, including; Meyer Goldberg, Krogers, IGA, as well as being Deli manager at BP Petroleum Station. She was a member of Bethel Chapel in Lorain. Patricia loved reading her Bible, and doing crossword puzzles. Her greatest joy was the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, of fifty-six years James Guy Rosso; her daughter, Annette Johnson (Stephan) of Oberlin; her grandchildren, Lynn Phillips, Justin Phillips, Valorie, Vincent; as well as her brother, Thomas Starcher (Della) of Henrietta Township.
She was preceded in death by her son, Matthew Rosso in 2010; and her parents, Thomas and Geraldine Starcher (nee: Smith).
Graveside services will be held Saturday, May 22, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, 44805 North Ridge Road, Amherst.
