Patricia A. Lesher

Patricia A. Lesher (nee: Dietsche),  61 years of age, and a resident of Elyria, passed away  Saturday, August 8, 2020, at David Simpson Hospice House in Cleveland following a lingering illness.

She was born July 16, 1959 in Nuremberg, Germany.  Patricia was a lifetime resident of Elyria.  She graduated from Elyria Catholic High School with the class of 1977.  Patricia graduated from Lorain County Community College with an Associate Degree in Business. 

She was employed as a dispatcher  for the Elyria Police Department for thirty years and worked part time with Sugar Ridge Towing in Elyria.  Patricia was always thinking of others rather than herself.  She will be remembered as a person who was very giving to her family and friends or anyone in need. Patricia loved cooking, gardening and canning.

Survivors include her husband of thirty years Robert Lesher; her children Christopher Lesher of Sheffield Lake and Erika Lesher (Brian Bell) of Amherst and her brother Daniel Dietsche (Tammy) of Amherst.

She was preceded in death by her parents Richard and Renate Dietsche (nee:Ehmer).

A Memorial Mass will be held Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church; 611 Lake Street, Elyria, Ohio  Rebroadcasting of services will be available at YOUTUBE/Hempel Funeral Home. The Rev. Fr. Albert Veigas, pastor will officiate.  Burial will take place at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Elyria.
