Nell Perkins Obituary

Nell Perkins, 73 years of age, and a resident of Amherst, passed away Saturday, April 28, 2007 at Community Health Partners in Lorain.

She was born December 12, 1933 in Markedtree, AK where she was raised.

Nell was employed as a foreman at Lorain Ford Motor Corporation for twelve years. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church in Lorain.

Survivors include her daughters Karyn Bevins of Amherst and Loretta Robinson of Memphis, TN; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren and her sister Bessie Phillips of Evansville, IN.

She was preceded in death by her parents David and Mable Turner (nee: Dean)

A Mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday, May 1, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. At St. Anthony of Padua Church; 1305 E. Erie Avenue, Lorain. The Rev. Fr. Joe West, will officiate. Burial will be in Ridge Hill Memorial Park.

Arrangements are being handled by the Hempel Funeral Home; 373 Cleveland Ave., Amherst, OH 44001.
