Nancy Ann Hawke (nee: Fry), 82 years of age, and a resident of Kipton, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, January 17, 2022, at UH Elyria Medical Center, following a full and meaningful life.
She was born May 14, 1939, in Elmira, New York. Nancy had made her home in Kipton for the last fifty-six years.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Nancy was a member of Pittsfield Community Church. Her faith was of utmost importance to her. She enjoyed reading, crocheting and loved a new purse. Nancy loved her dog and companion BoBo.
Survivors include her daughters, Diana (Peter) Brubaker of Oberlin, Debbie (Mike) Headley of St. John’s, Florida; her grandchildren, Jessica (Steven) Jagmohan and Michael Headley.
She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty years Thomas Orlo Hawke on August 23, 2008, her son in law, Danny W. Buchs; her brother, Paul Fry; and her parents, Paul and Georgia Fry (nee: Tosh).
Friends may call Thursday, January 20, 2022, from 5- 8 p.m. at the Hempel Funeral Home; 373 Cleveland Ave., Amherst. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Pittsfield Community Church; 17026 State Route 58, Wellington, OH 44090. The Rev. Jonathan Cheatham, pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow at Camden Cemetery, Kipton.
