Marilyn Caley Obituary
Marilyn Caley (nee: Mackert), 70 years of age, and a resident of Lorain, passed away November 21, 2022 at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Lorain.
She was born March 15, 1952, in Lorain. Marilyn was a lifetime resident of Lorain, graduating from Brookside High School.
Marilyn was employed as a daycare teacher at Small Scholars, before retiring in 2014. She was a member of the Amvets in Lorain. Her hobbies included bingo, reading, listening to Elvis Presley and doing puzzles. Marilyn loved spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughters, Joni Robinson (Andrew) of Amherst and Rachel Zielinski (Ed) of Wilmington, DE; her grandchildren Adalynn and Aubrey Robinson, and her brother Dennis Mackert (Sharon) of Elyria.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Dale Mackert; and her parents Harold and Wanda Mackert (nee: Belevich).
Friends may call Sunday, November 27, 2022 from 7:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 8:00 p.m. at the Hempel Funeral Home, Amherst. Rebroadcasting of services will be available at www.hempelfuneralhome.com .
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude’s Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
