Luann Adele Burrer

Luann Adele Burrer (nee: Faight), 63  years of age, passed away from this life into eternal life on Sunday, June 5, 2022 following  a sudden illness.  Born in Johnstown, PA, she moved to Elyria with her family as a child, and was a lifelong resident.

 

A 1977 graduate of Elyria West High School, she worked as an office administrator for two family businesses, Bur Bros. Masonry in Elyria and Club West Hair Company in Lorain.  Over the years she was heavily involved in little league, the National Association of Women in Construction and in her church.  She enjoyed cooking (and was good at it!), reading the Bible, and gathering and traveling with friends and family.  

 

But nothing brought her more joy than being a mother, grandmother and aunt.  If ever a baby went missing at a family function, all you had to do was locate Luann.

 

She was preceded in death by her childhood sweetheart and husband Scott in 2016, and we celebrate their reunion! Her father, Charles Faight, in-laws Kenneth and Goldie Burrer and daughter-in- law Julie. 

 

Surviving and celebrating her life are her sons, Jason, Bryon, and Jamie (Tiffany) of Elyria; Korey (Tiffany) of Oberlin, and Christopher (Ashley) of Sylvania; her mother, Edith Faight (nee Reighard); her sisters, Charlene (Rich) Rankin and Carol (Dan) Billman; her grandchildren, Bryttani, Ethan, Kaiden, Mason, Taryn, Willow and Savannah; her great granddaughter Dhavianna; and many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.

 

Friends may call Tuesday, June 7, 2022 from 4-8 p.m. at Christ Church, 1420 So. Abbe Road, Elyria. Additional visitation will be held Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 at the church. Pastor Chet Beetler will officiate.  Burial will be private.

 

The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to LIFEBANC, 4775 Richmond Road, Cleveland, Ohio 44128.
