Linda Kay Lukachko

Linda Kay Lukachko (nee: Murdy), 67 years of age, and a resident of Lorain, passed away  Friday, December 25, 2020, at her home following a brief illness.

She was born September 20, 1953 in Wichita Falls, Texas.  Linda was a longtime resident of Lorain. She was a graduate of Marion Steele High School in Amherst.

Her primary focus in life was that of a homemaker.  Linda enjoyed spending time on her boat, camping and taking care of her cats.  She loved collecting trinkets and knick knacks.  Above all else, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. 

Survivors include her husband of forty-six years William Lukachko; her son Aaron Lukachko (Erica) of North Ridgeville; her daughter in law Amy Lukachko of Madison; her mother Ruth Murdy (nee: Frederick) of Amherst; her grandchildren Christopher, Jon, Ashley, Madison, Justin, Austin and Lillian; and her brother Randy Murdy (Eva) of Amherst.

She was preceded in death by her son Adam Lukachko in September, 2020; and her father William Murdy.

Public Funeral services  for family and friends will be held Thursday, December 31, 2020 morning  by reservation at  https://signup.com/go/UZTfgCN or by calling 440-988-4451 during business hours at Hempel Funeral Home, Amherst, OH. Private burial will take place at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township.
