LaVerne A. Keron (nee: Ade), 88 years of age, and a resident of Lorain, passed away Thursday, April 21, 2022 at the Cleveland Clinic in Avon, following a brief illness.
She was born August 23, 1933, in Cleveland. LaVerne had made her home in Lorain for over seventy-seven years.
She was a graduate of Euclid Academy of Cosmetology. LaVerne was a hairdresser for over fifty years, serving the Cleveland, Bay Village and Lorain area. She was a member of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church where she was a member of the Senior group. LaVerne enjoyed tending to her yard and crafting. Her greatest joy was the time she spent with her family, especially her great grandchildren.
Survivors include her children, Michael (Kelly) Keron of Lorain, Ivy (Tim) Koperdak of Amherst and Julie Keron of Lorain; her grandchildren, Matthew, Jennifer (Dereck) , Nicholas, Ashley, Jessica, Brittany and Daimon; her great grandchildren, Jordan, William, Braylon, Janessa, Ava, Kasen, Remi and Landen; and her brother Richard Ade of Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband Nicholas “Dan” Keron in 2009; her sister Caroline Poprocki and her parents Adolph and Lena Ade (nee: Tombor).
Private funeral services will be held by the family.
