Kenneth S. Bado

Kenneth S. Bado, 79 years of age, and a resident of Henrietta Township, passed away Saturday, June 13, 2020, at Amherst Manor, following a lengthy illness.

He was born March 13, 1941 in Lorain. Kenneth made his home in Henrietta Township since the early 1970’s.

Kenneth was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was employed at Ford Motor Assembly Plant in Lorain for thirty-seven years before retiring as a General Foreman in 1997. Kenneth was a farmer who raised steers and loved horseback riding. He was a member of the Stonington Masonic Lodge #503 in Amherst. Kenneth enjoyed walleye fishing on Lake Erie. He loved watching westerns. He will be remembered as always doing the right thing.

Survivors include his wife of twenty-eight years Polly Ann Bado (nee: Steele); his sons Brad Bado (Cindy) of Wellington, John Bado of Avon Lake, Michael Frazier of Knox, PA; his daughters Cheryl Brubaker (Tim) of Richmond, VA, Rhonda Cruz (Joel) of Oberlin, Dawn Walther (Jim) of Lorain and Tricia Chopcinski (David) of Avon Lake, Oh; his grandchildren Emily, Ashley, Cory, Shea, Kyle, Isabelle, Mark, Hayley, Matt, Zachary, Adam and Paige; and nine great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his sister Hilde Smith; and his parents Steve and Hildegard Bado (nee: Gutowski).

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
