Karen Sue King, 66 years of age, and a resident of Avon, passed away Monday, June 5, 2023 at Avon Place, following a brief illness.
She was born September 11, 1956 in Oberlin. Karen had made her home in Avon for the last ten years.
Karen was always there for her family, and was an ideal grandma spoiling her grandchildren. You could always count on her being there with family and friends and always brought the family together through good and bad times. She was selfless and worried about her family rather than herself.
Survivors include her daughters, Stacey Whitesel and Sarah Whitesel both of Elyria; her grandchildren, Diamante Polito (Jared), Jazzmine Jimison, and Kyle Sharpless (Fiance Shyanne Adams
She was preceded in death by her sisters Rebecca Ann Hughett and Lisa Marie King; and her parents, Hershel and Inez Mae King (nee: Hunter).
