Janet Pirosko Obituary
Janet G. Pirosko (nee: Dupal) 82 Years of age and a resident of Amherst, Ohio for the past 24 years, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 2, 2022, surrounded by her family.
She was born May 18, 1940, in Cleveland, Ohio and moved to South Euclid where she raised her four children. Her greatest joy was Polka dancing with her companion Dan.
Beloved mother of Loreen (Robert) Mizek, Mark (Laura) Pirosko, Stephen “Teo” (Peggy) Pirosko, Janeen (Jennifer) Pirosko; loving companion Dan Bozicevich; grandmother to CJ, Oliva, Chase, Stephen, Samantha and Ryan; nieces and nephews Lisa Aufmuth-Bica (Salvatore), Virin (Kristie) Vedder and Vanette (Chris) Vedder- Furney; her great nephew Douglas Aufmuth; and her brother-in-law Mel Aufmuth.
She was preceded in death by her former husband Stephen T. Pirosko, her sister Joyce Aufmuth; and her parents James and Veronica Dupal (nee: Michalkiewicz)
Friends may call Thursday, August 4, 2022, from 4-8 p.m. at the Hempel Funeral Home 373 Cleveland Ave. in Amherst, Ohio. Closing Prayers will be held on August 5, 2022, at 10:30 at the funeral home, followed by a mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 200 St Joseph Drive, Amherst, Ohio. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Amherst, Ohio.
