Jack Fitzgerald Kramer, 55 years of age, and a resident of Lorain, passed away September 6, 2022, at his home following sudden illness.
Jack was born March 3, 1967, in Findlay and raised in Findlay, graduating from Findlay High School with the class of 85. Lorain has been his home for the last 21 years.
Jack was employed as a superintendent at Shelly Company for 20 plus years and served. Jack graduated from Bowling Green State University with his bachelors in Construction Management and Architecture. Outside of work, he loved hockey. While in high school he played hockey, and since 2002, was the assistant coach for the boys Amherst Steele Hockey team. Besides hockey, he loved watching and feeding birds. He also loved art and being creative. He will be remembered as a compassionate animal lover especially towards his pets. His gentle and gregarious manner will be deeply missed by his wife and family.
Survivors include his wife of 24 years Sheila Ann Kramer (nee: Holbrook): his children; Amanda Keslar of North Olmsted, Shawn Hunt of Lorain, and Paige Kramer of Lorain; his two grandchildren, Kayleen Zimmerman and Addison Keslar; his brother, Ted (Lynn) Kramer of Indianapolis, Indiana; his sister, Jill (Brad) Burkard of Wapakoneta, OH; and his beloved mother, Janet Kramer (nee: Rutter) of Findlay, Ohio whom he cherished.
He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Chloe Keslar in 2014 and by his father Gerald Kramer in 2016 .
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2022, at 11 a.m.at Hempel Funeral Home. With a reception to follow at the Amherst Historical Society from 1:00 p.m to 4:00 p.m.. Rebroadcasting of services will be available at www.hempelfuneralhome.com .
