Jack Barry Denney Sr., 76 years of age, and a resident of Amherst, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, November, 6, 2023.
He was born December 30, 1946, in Delta, Kentucky. Jack had made his home in Amherst for the last sixty years.
He was employed at Ford Motor Company in Lorain for forty-one years before retiring in 2007, in the maintenance department. Jack briefly worked at the Cleveland Quarries. He was an active member of North Lake Missionary Baptist Church. Jack loved music, bluegrass and country, and had played the guitar since he was fifteen and had a standing weekly, fifteen year gig with his friends playing country and bluegrass music at their homes. He was involved with the church worship team. Jack had a servant's heart and was often found to be doing yardwork, mowing yards for his friends. His greatest joy was the time he spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.
