Isaac W. Dick, 91 years of age, and a resident of South Amherst, and passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2020, at his home following a full and meaningful life.
He was born July 15, 1929 in Pueblo, Kentucky. Isaac had made his home in South Amherst since 1965.
He was employed as a machinist at Bendix in Elyria. Isaac was a great husband for sixty-three years, a wonderful dad, grandfather and great grandfather. He loved his family and the time they spent together. Isaac was a huge University of Kentucky basketball fan. He enjoyed watching college sports.
Isaac leaves to cherish his memory his wife of sixty-three years Lois Dick (nee: Hardwick); his son Wade Dick (Tina) of Lorain, Rhonda Shippe (Steven) of Louisville, Kentucky and Judy Lowe (Joe) of Homer, Illinois; eleven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; his siblings Woodrow Dick and Virginia Casada both of Monticello, Kentucky, Lovie Tucker of Somerset, Kentucky and Barbara Sue Guffey (James) of Indianapolis, Indiana.
He was preceded in death by his siblings Darrel and Alonzo Dick, Beulah Ramsey, Aughdene Stockton and Ather Dick; and his parents John and Loie Dick (nee: Morrow).
Private family funeral services will be held at Hempel Funeral Home, Amherst, Ohio. Rebroadcasting of services will be available at YOUTUBE/Hempel Funeral Home. The Rev. Jayson Samons, pastor of North Lake Missionary Baptist Church, will officiate.
