Gladys Marie Justice (nee: White), 85 years of age, and a resident of Sheffield Township, went home to be her Lord and Savior on Thursday, June 3, 2021, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born July 11, 1935 in Lenore, West Virginia. Gladys had made her home in the Lorain County area since 1962.
Her primary focus in life was taking care of her family, she loved being a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Gladys was an active member of Apostle’s Doctrine Church in Lorain where she taught Sunday School. She was a devoted Christian and loved her church. Her hobbies included gardening and feeding the wildlife.
Survivors include her children Larry Thomas (Pam) Justice of Elyria; Judy Lynn Justice of Sheffield Twp.; Barbara Ann (David) Underwood of Lorain; Brenda Lea (William) Carter of Sheffield Twp.; Michael Keith (Jakki) Justice of Lorain; Mark Anthony (Holly) Justice of Georgetown, TX; nineteen grandchildren; thirty-three great grandchildren and many great great grandchildren; her siblings Clyde Cecil White (Sharon) of Elyria, Doshie Morris of Ocala, FL, Louella Hunt of Millstone, WV, Rita Faye Justice (Rob) of Delbarton, WV and Eileen Carter of Leesburg, FL.
She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-six years Thomas Franklin Justice on December 17, 2020; her siblings John Henry White, Columbus White, Lilly Adair, Dixie June Justice, Lola Mae Coleman and five siblings in infancy; and her parents Ralph and Ada White (York).
Public visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, June 7, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at the Apostle’s Doctrine Church; 2400 Leavitt Road, Lorain. Pastor Roy McGlugritch, will officiate. Burial will follow at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township.
