Edward David Burdette

Edward David Burdette, 57 years of age, and a resident of Elyria, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Monday, January 11, 2021, at Justin T. Rogers Care Center in Akron while under the care of hospice.

He was born May 27, 1963, in Bay Village.  Edward was raised in Elyria where he attended High School and resided most of his life.

He was most recently employed at AJ Rose Manufacturing as a machine operator.  Edward loved being outdoors, hunting and fishing.  He always enjoyed the time he spent with his family.

Survivors include his daughter Michelle Burdette of Elyria; his mother Doris King (nee Grimmett) of Elyria; his siblings, Denise Hamulak (Mike) of Amherst, Diane Burdette, Ted Burdette, Arield Burdette, Ginny Lynn Sherrard all of Elyria and Ronald Burdette, Jr. of Akron.

He was preceded in death by his father Ronald David Burdette, his brother Steve in 1995, and Steve’s son Josh who passed away 2018.

Public reception and celebration of life services will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2021, at 2:00 p.m.at Faith Baptist Church; 440 North Lake Street, Amherst.

The family suggests that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to the family by mail or venmo @Michelle-Burdette
