Dhonna Hall Obituary
On Saturday, August 7, 2021, Dhonna Gaye Hall, loving wife of Joe Thomas Hall and mother of three children, passed away at the age of 77.
Dhonna was born on May 13, 1944, in Detroit, Michigan, to Laurence Andrews and Rose McGregor. In 1961 she married Joe and they celebrated sixty years of marriage.
Dhonna was employed as a bus driver with the Amherst School District for seventeen years. She enjoyed coaching summer softball and caring for her grandchildren. Donna loved spending time with her family, cooking, telling stories about her interesting childhood, and playing with her dog, Teddy.
Dhonna will be missed by her loving husband, Joe; her sons, Patrick and Thom; her daughter, Nicole Hall; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Laurence and Rose Andrews (nee: McGregor).
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that those who wish to remember Dhonna make a donation to the City of Amherst Athletics Department for their Summer Softball Program.
