Paul Edgar Landman, Sr., 85 years of age, and a resident of Amherst, passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2024, following a sudden illness.
He was born March 26, 1939 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Paul has made his home in Amherst for over fifty-seven years.
Paul served in the United States Army Reserves. He was employed at Ford Motor Company in both the Lorain and Avon plant for thirty-seven years before retiring in 2007. Paul was a member of the UAW local 2000. He loved working outdoors and going hunting. Paul was a handyman who could repair and fix anything. In his spare time he enjoyed watching cowboy movies. Paul was a loving husband, father and grandfather and nothing brought him greater joy than the time he spent with family.
Survivors include his loving wife of sixty years, Joyce Lee Landman (nee: Earley); his children, Tammy Buchanan of Avon Lake and Paul Edgar Landman Jr. of Rocky RIver; his grandchildren, Joshua and Jesse Buchanan; and his sister Susan Whiteman (Darrell) of Missourai.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Harold, Donald, Glenn, Edward; and his parents, Frederick and Catherine Landman (nee: Bowlin).
