Catherine C Kiser

Catherine C. Kiser (nee: Waldron), 77 years of age, and a resident of Cuyahoga Falls, was reunited with her husband Walter on the morning of Monday, November 12, 2012 at Akron City Hospital following a brief illness.

She was born October 28, 1935 in Netcong, New Jersey. As a teenager, Catherine moved to Canton, and in the late fifties she moved to the Lorain and Amherst area. Cuyahoga Falls has been her home for the last nine years.

Her primary focus in life was that of being a homemaker. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cuyahoga Falls. In her younger years, Catherine owned and operated a housekeeping company. She loved to make handmade crafts that included crocheted items. Catherine enjoyed Disney entertainment and watching the food network. She enjoyed her time she spent at bingo. Catherine was an enthusiastic fan of all things pertaining to Elvis.

Survivors include her son and his wife Christopher E. and Angel Kiser of Akron; and her granddaughter Tabitha King and one great grandhild.

She was preceded in death by her husband of forty-three years Walter Earl Kiser on March 9, 2002; her infant son David Kiser in 1964; her daughters Lucinda Kiser in 1970; Babette King in 1996; and by her parents Burton and Clare Irene Waldron (nee: Warner).

A Reception for family and friends will be held on Thursday, November 15, 2012 from 6-9 p.m. at the Hempel Funeral Home; 373 Cleveland Ave., Amherst. Graveside Service will be held Friday, November 16, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Crownhill Cemetery, Amherst. Deacon Paul Heise, of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Amherst will officiate.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to St. Judes Children Hospital; P.O. Box 1000; Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142.
